Clocks
The clocks are ticking
 One by one
 Time is lost
 Never regained
 Never found
 Never existed
 Number by number
 Minute by minute
 Hour by hour
 The circle is always complete
 It’s uncontrollable
 Unmanageable
 Out of my hands
 The clocks are ticking
 One by one
 All around me
 Dizzying
 Nauseating
 Deafening
 Look around
 At all the chaos
 Of everything surrounding me
 The banter
 The tears
 The blood
 I look at the clocks
 And they’re still ticking.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.
