My Love is Confused
I love you
You might not know it,
Even though to me it’s common knowledge
I see you daily
But you don’t see me
Am I totally invisible to you?
Or do you only see me when you want to?
I have feelings
But you act like I don’t
You pretend that if you don’t say a word to me that I’ll just disappear
But I won’t
I’ll be here forever, waiting
Waiting for you to love me
Waiting for you to know how much you hurt me
Waiting for you to feel the trauma and the agony that you put me though
Do you lie on purpose?
Answer me honestly, do you love me?
You pretend and you play your twisted games, thinking that I won’t care
That I won’t get hurt
That I won’t fall for it
But I will
I love you
I do stupid things because I love you
But you don’t get it
You never did
You never paid enough attention to see how much I cared
I still do, but you’ll never know
You’ll never know the pain
You’ll never know the suffering
You’ll never know the confusion
You’ll never know the love
