I’m cracked.
I’m cracked
and I’m broken
and I’m pretty much shattered
and I don’t want to heal,
because if I heal
(again)
it can only make it hurt
more
the next time.
staying
this way,
it will only sting a little
in the already-present,
ever-present cracks
(that you
and you
and you, too, have formed)
before I remember
I’m already
Cracked
and that is how
it just
is.
