Anesthesia MAG
A syringe
inserted
Anesthesia pumping
in. I'm
bare; not moving
It's holding me down
shutting me down
the icicles
start to form
as time starts to form
at its stand-still
trying to open my
eyes but
i'm so numb, so
cold
it flows through
my body
spreading across
my face
these vast lies
keep holding me down
a soft dark mumble
turns to a cry
turns to a scream
but yet it is all
locked down
as i lie
here
paralyzed.

This is an interesting poem, but it doesn't really hold my attention. Maybe because I haven't read any of Ellen Hopkins' books - which I will, they sound good.
Please check out my work!
