His number I’ll never forget
For it’s imprinted on my heart,

Every small number
And every syllable

Will be there forever,
Never to be forgotten,

When the relationship started
It was ink and easily washed off,

As it quickly came to an end
It was burned into its final place,

The brand was red and yellow,
The color of fire

When the memory was put in
There wasn’t much pain,

As it ripped my heart apart,
The pain made me scream,

His number I’ll never forget
For it will be imprinted on my heart forever…

"If you must mount the gallows, give a coin to the headman, a jest to the crowd, and meet the drop with a smile on your lips."

Lots of feeling in this, and its good. not much flow, but not all poems need to flow, as long as the meaning they have is conveyed.
