Just One Dance
Been dreaming all my life
Of having a boyfriend
To whom I could someday become a wife
Never thought I’d find him until you came along
And now I’ve finally found that boy
I hope he’ll be there till the end
Of his or my own life
In having discovered a love so strong
My dream has begun to change
Into one of a future together
With maybe three kids, a dog, and a cat
A future we arrange
That begins with a dance
Dressed in black and white
We’ll dance across the floor
To music at a party
Going late into the night
We’ll have danced many times before
But this one dance will be special
‘Cause it’ll begin our new life
A life spent always together
With my love now and forever
