Constant grinding can
Turn an iron rod,
Into a needle.
Each time you’ve
Hurt me,
Ground me down
Just a little bit…
But now, you’ve
Ground me one
Too many times.
I’m almost a needle.
I’m worn down.
Everything you’ve said,
Everything you’ve done,
It eats at me.
I try not to show it.
Most of the time,
I don’t…
Not this time.
I’m trying, but…
I’m done. Done trying.
I’ll just keep telling myself,
Don’t cry…
