that's how I feel around you
Clueless
that's how I think around you
Timid
that's how I walk around you

When you glance my way
I run away
When you open your mouth
I fly south
When you approach me
I hide my face
so you can't see
my confusion and despair
anxiety over whether you care

If only you could see me
for who I truly can be
instead of who I am
It's what I wish for every night
Drat this shyness, give me might
I will tell you that I feel this way
but maybe tomorrow, not today

Thanks :)

Well I'm ethnically Chinese and I'm living in China, but I wrote this in English. :) Haha it would be great if they started translating, wouldn't it?

This is a great poem! I really loved it. By the way - not to sound strange, but please answer this question because I'm so curious - this site says you live in China. Are you receiving this is Chinese, or English? I just wonder if they are translating what I am writing right now, because that would be so cool! And yes, excellent poem.

Some truths best left unspoken.

I love it! I found that dispite the fact I do not easily relate to such feelings. I could put myself in your situation.
