falling for you
convinced you’re like the others
you tried to convince me
I’m wrong
that you won’t
hurt me
break me
play me
but why should I believe you
every time I loved
they lied
everytime they hurt
I died
their evil chipped away my insides
to my vulnerable core
so that’s what you get
not any less
not any more
you gotta take it or leave
no more changing for guys
accepting their lies
I’m just gunna be me
