You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.

Lunch is above me.
My stomach roars like an enraged lion.
I lunge upon the bridge and expose my claws, gleaming like a row of knives, and I prepare to flay him.
“Wait for my brother,” my lunch stammers “he is much fatter.”
He vanishes like mist.

This poem was inspired by “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”. The story involves three goats, who are trying to cross a bridge to the other side of the meadow. A troll tries to prevent them from crossing. This poem is narrated by the troll.
