Color is just color.
It doesn’t describe who you are.
It doesn’t explain how you act.
What does it mean to be white?

What does it mean to be black?

Can you be both at the same time?

I thought color was just color,
But people say I’m wrong.
If you’re black then you act this way,
And if you’re white you act another.
But God says we’re all individuals.
We all act different.

Isn’t color just color?
I’ve never seen a black person.
I've seen brown,
Tan,
Burnt,
Red,

But I’ve never seen black.

Isn’t color just color?
I’ve never seen a white person.
I’ve seen apricot,
Pale,
Yellow,
Peach,

But I’ve never seen white.

Now I know,
Color is just color.

The color of your skin doesn't explain how your brain works and how you act. Your skin color is just how God made you and how the sun has reacted to your skin. It doesn't mean you act perky or bubbly or mean or nice or Christian-like. Color doesn't describe who your are, you do.
