My life is like average nightmare
Scary
Annoying
Sometimes even twisted
It causes pain and tears
And everything in between
And the only place I find safety is in my dreams

My dreams are where I wish I could live
Where everything is perfect
Serene
Beautiful
And you don’t have to read between the lines
Where I can actually be with the one I love
Where I can be happy

But Im forced to live my life
As imperfect as it may be
I just have to move on
As it hard as it will be
I just have to hang on
I have to try and keep my head clear
I have to try to be happy

I run between the two worlds
Both as different can be
One light one dark
It’s an endless cycle
And now Im stuck in-between
Always dreaming
But always alive
Barely awake
But only slightly sleeping

Now my two dreams have morphed with reality
Becoming one and the same
Nothing is real
And nothing is fake
I can not determine
What has become
Where I am
All I know is
That I am lost in
Somewhere that doesn’t exist
