“Do You Know What It Feels Like”
Do you know what I go through everyday?
The pain just won’t go away
Do you see how they treat me?
The smirks they give me?
Don’t you feel the pain I feel?
Don’t you hear the names they call me?
Of course you don’t
You just don’t know what I go through every day
You make me feel the pain I feel
You treat me just the same
You smirk at me as I walk by
You call me the names they call me
So you must not know what I go through every day
But what if it was you who went through all of this
What if we treated you the way you treat me
What if people smirked at you?
What if you felt the pain I feel?
Or if we called you the names you call me
If only you knew what it feels like?
Then would you be my friend?
