One With the Night
I love swiftly running
 In the cool grass
 Under the night sky
 Then falling and watching
 The stars roll by
 Mixed with creamy clouds
 Acquainted by the yellow moon
I love the scent of the wind
 Tumbling among the trees
 Night is wild freedom

 I could touch the sky
 I could carress the stars
 I could feel the moon
 I could jump
 From earth to the universe
I had to hold onto the grass
So I couldn't runaway from myself

 Romance with the night
 Secret never shared
Alone in the midst of mist
 Simmered into the earth
 Face the stars
 In all their speckled glory
 Grow a grandeur of wings
 And fly into the sky
 Gone; one with the night
