Hollow
What has become of me?
I ask myself quietly,
It only took losing him,
To lose it all.
His lack of presence has left me empty,
Wondering,
Pondering,
Why, oh why, did it have to be me?
He has left me behind,
Like a toy forgotten,
A story left untold,
Gathering dust and cobwebs.
Enraptured by his gaze,
Only to be explained as apathy,
For he regards me blatantly,
And cares not if I am unhappy.
Writhing in pain, hearing words unspoken,
Drowning in emptiness, the nothing inside,
No where to run, no one to go to,
Wandering in the dark abyss that was once my heart.
