A mother ran towards the river
With her mistake in her arms
It cried as if knowing its fate
She bent down to the river and released the mistake
The mother watched as the mistake disapeared under the water
Through the tears in her eyes
She saw the bubbles and wondered,
“Was that the mistake?”

My original poem was sloppy and all over the place. Thanks to my freinds for helping me with the problems. This is the revised, better version.

Wow, very sad.  The way you refer to the child as a mistake really gets the point across.  I'd love for it to be a longer poem just because I want to read more.

Would you mind reading/commenting on some of my stuff?  thank you
