Season Painted
dipping paintbrush
 in raindrop water
 and splattering lightly
 showered blue paint
 on the icy white canvas,
 this is winter

 next comes spring
 squeezing dripping water,
 dipping brush in evergreen trees
 and dexterously outlining
 the silhouettes of maples
 and dainty daffodils

 squeezing brush completely dry
 and dabs yellow sun
 to compromise
 refreshing yellow lemonade
 and golden-yellow swaying fields
 sweat dribbling down chin

 last is autumn
 soak brush,
 add water,
 splatter mud, red crispy leaves
 like red confetti
 crinkling under your feet
