wanting to run
wanting to hide
you told me so many lies
wishing it wasnt so
wishing it was a dream
most importantly wishing there was still a you and me
sitting where you left me not that long ago
sitting on my bed crying
because i believed you
yet still wishing there was a me and you.
wishing this year wasnt over
wishing there was no pain
wishing you would protect me from all my fears
