Our Place
We used to sit atop this bench,
my head nestled beneath your chin.
We would whisper our "I love you"s,
tell the stories of our day.
We used to walk along these trails,
fingers intwined.
I would lead you through the trees,
you would follow close behind.
Do you remember when I slipped
and you caught me as I fell?
You layed me down gently..
The rest is yours to tell.
We used to sit along the creek,
our toes softly kissing the water.
Staring into each other's eyes,
immersed in one another.
That is where our love started.
There is where it grew.
This is where it will remain forever.
This is me and you
