Soulless Bodies
We are all lost souls
Trapped, wandering in the universe
Dreaming up adventures
Never in our bodies
Our bodies are a prison of reality
Of love and hatred
Scattered caring and remorse
We float above
Our bodies are robots
Expressionless to the world
Impenetrable to feelings
They cannot contain us
Wishes kiss our cheeks
As we follow the dark road
With bewildered eyes
Empty chasms of fear
We are never truly awake
Our lives are rhythmic
Shallow thoughts soar higher
Thank our soulless bodies
