Fall in love or fall in hate; Get inspired or be depressed; Ace a test or flunk a class; Make babies or make art; Speak the truth or lie and cheat; Dance on tables or sit in the corner; Life is divine chaos. Embrace it. Breathe. And enjoy the ride...

You use me everyday, for what?/
Stupid school notes?/
You lend me to your friends/
They hurt me, and yet, you let them/
You lock me in a dark place most of the day/
It scares me/
Sometimes you chew on me/
Do you like to torture me?
Please just kill me
Break me in half with your hands/
Even yet, just push my body into a sharpener/
And peel my layers away/
In the end, I'm only a pencil to you/
And you, a monster to me//

This is really great! I like how you didn't say that it was about a pencil until the end. It's really expressive and descriptive. Again, why the slashes?
