I wish I could
But I can’t
I lay alone on the warm ground
Wishing you were next to me
But you’re not
To my right, flowers bloom
To my left, empty space
But nothing else
I’m wishing it was you
Your face, your eyes, your smile
But it’s just me
Here alone on the black top
Sing I don’t wanna be in love
I’m wishing I could
But I can’t
