A Child with Freckle
Miracles were fantasies of
 The Faithfull’s mind.
 They were created acts
 Made to make the world
 Just a little more
Bearable than it used to be.
 Everyone knew it, but
 Chose not to accept it.
 Until that child with
 The silvery-blonde hair
 And freckles came.
 That child made miracles
 Happen, yet no one believed
Since it was only a child.
 Those unbelievers changed the child.
The child is now an adult
And is as bitter and fake
As the adults who once unknowingly
 Chose its fate.
