Favorite Quote:
"Like an angel with two broken wings. Reach for the sky again. Like the devil, meant for better things. I will find my place on high"

As waves pass through my bones and blood
As strips of color pass me by
When I try to catch them
Run away
When I try to grab them
Slip away

These stains of color on my hands
The remnants of them keeping quite
Leeching through my skin and to my brain
Since then I have never
Been the same

Stained with splotches spread throughout my skin
Inconsistencies that signal them
Color blind
They see it black and grey
And I knew since then
I could not stay

This poem makes me feel like a rainbow! Love the last two stanzas.
