Betting on a Breakup

Your voice rises as you wave
your hand wildly in the air
Claiming to have been tricked
by my misleading lies and face
i step back a few steps, or yards
feeling afraid for anyone
in a 2 mile radius of your rage
your eyes are blazing with fury
as your lips pull into a sneer
my eyes are glazed and wary
as i observe with contempt
at the scene unfolding before me
then you curse my name, and turn
showing me your back as you walk
away from this trivial relationship
and try your best to not look back
i shake my head and mutter
"looks like i won ten dollars"
