Hope from Healing
I can’t take that day when I chose to run away
But if I could turn back, here’s just what I’d say.
“His mountains will scream ‘Glory’
His trees in joy will cry out
The flowers He handpainted will reflect what life’s about
Let go of your worry and fears
He will wipe away the tears
And as He heals the wounds that caused them
He’ll whisper words of hope into your ears
You will see sunrises that light up the sky
In open meadows you will lie &
When you think your too weak to carry on
He’ll give you the strength to try
He’ll give you friends that are loyal and kind
And give you understanding that youre more than a body-but also a heart, a soul, and a mind.
The family He has blessed you with will make you laugh all day
And If I could have said it then, there’s just one more thing I’d say
“Turn around dear, and don’t look back once more
For from where I’m standing I have seen what your life has in store, it’s much greater than you could’ve ever dreamt before.
It is nothing to run or hide from, but it’s everything you could desire, and all it takes to reach this place is the Holy Spirit’s fire.”
