kiss me softly
hold me high
in your arms
i can fly
dance with me slowly
twirl me with grace
i am glad to see
a smile on your face
but changes come
as they always do
and this time the change
splits me and you
i have college
a future in grasp
you have the air force
also a daunting task
so with a tear in my eye
a fake smile on my face
i let you go
with one last embrace
