satisfaction
eyes cradle the curl of her fingers
wound in a loose spring around the
barrel of a wooden pencil.
what sight cannot provide is the
physical satisfaction she craves--
eyes recieve, gifts small they hand out
in the form of appreciation, but this
is pleasure to one side of the party...
the giver knows not of the thoughts
lips would speak for eyes can't.
