As I Recall

As I recall,
The moonlight was falling over me on that night.
The night I saw the stars as angels.
It was the night when the wind sang,
And the softest sound a joyous shout.
As I recall,
It was the night when I danced in the rain,
And the sunshine danced with me.
It was the night when the crickets played for me,
And the trees whispered gentle words.
It was the night when my eyes were opened.
As I recall,
It was the night I found faith.
