A Poem to my Dad
You say I don’t listen
 You say I don’t care
But I guess I just take advantage
Because I know you’ll always be there

You’re who I see when I first awake
And the last face I see before I sleep
I even love seeing you in between
And this is a schedule I’m gonna keep

I want to tell you something
Something I have a hard time to express
So I’m writing this poem now
And I will do my very best

To tell you that I do listen
To let you know I care
Because I know you love me, Dad
And you should know it’s a love we share

So, maybe I can be better
And show my love in better ways
But I’m the daughter you’re stuck with
And will be stuck with till your last days
