Look at me and smile big
Look at me with no frowns or grins
Be happy with me
As I’m happy with you
I love thee
For I love your everything’s
Your smile, is my light
Your heart, is all mine
Your faults, I accept
I’d say you’re perfect
But that’d be a lie

Although I’d never change you
I accept, who you are
I’ll be there by you
I know you’d do the same
Well stand together through
Everything and anything

Our wall stands strong and proud
Come our way
I promise you
You’ll never knock it down

Challenges and courses
Will come time to time
In the end
Don’t worry
Because we decide what’s right

You’re my amazing reality
My extraordinary smile
You make me shine
Out of the darkest times
Smile big, and smile high

Remember this here and don’t forget
You’re my everything
I wouldn’t think of trading you for anything

So simple and so true! once more I have the confirmation that love doesn’t rely on empty elevate words but nestles in the raw, prime expression of the feeling. Congratulations for reminding it!

I love it , there's emotion seeping out of it , and although the right one is a bit odd , this is a GREAT poem. I love the feeling of it , and your message too. Keep writing :)

This is sweet! I wish I could write poetry. I definitely agree with Timekeeper, the right one is not perfect, but perfect for one person. That's a mature message behind a nicely written poem. Nice entry!

This is so relatable, I swear as I was reading it I was picturing this one guy in my head the entire time. I love this poem (maybe even more than him haha)! Seriously though, this is really good, Nice job :)

I can totally dig the message this poem has...the people we fall for aren't meant to be "perfect", just "perfect for us". I don't think enough people understand that :)
