I Want to Speak
My lips are stained dark red,
My eyes are dark blue,
My hair is thin and naturally not dark brown,
These tears that you see?
They are an allusion, I think...
I like the wet trail they leave on my hollow cheeks, ya know?
It's so harmonious and gentle,
Seemingly accidental,
I must tell you something,
Promise you won't weep or turn away from my hidden grief?
I am me.
And,
I cannot speak.
So,
You see,
Since you have yet to step away grief stricken as most,
I must go,
Back to my grave,
To wait for another lost soul.
