My Family is a Ship
Dad, the captin of the ship, brave and strong,
Mom, the hull keeping us afloat,
Andrew, main pole standing high,
Anna, the bow going straight ahead,
Me, I’m the sail going in the right direction,
Terry’s at the wheel always knowing where to go,
Sam, the crows nest always looking out,
Marry Kathryn, the flag blowing swiftly,
Joseph, the holes in the sail tearing everything apart.
