From a Bird's Eye View
Dear sky,
You’ve known me since
I first spread my wings
And flew.
You invited me into
your loving embrace,
and allowed me to see things
from your prospective.
You are my greatest friend,
Offering me protection
When I need it most.
Whenever I’m scared,
I fly away
Into your cloudless blue,
So clear.
Whenever I reach the sky,
I realize how much you can see;
So much happiness,
So much grief,
So much hate,
So much love.
You see everything.
I wonder what you’ve learned
Through the years,
and I must ask.
Can you teach me?
Love,
Bird
