It's a lovely day to cut open fields
Consciously abstracting summer from reality
Bursting into colors
with your tangled hair

It's not really Spring, is it?

Together we are daytime criminals
trying to rob nearby jungles of
paper tigers and

aluminum frogs.

Law-breakers stuck in a shoe cave
Sucking on twigs and forced to interrogate
our own insanity

You are my drug of choice.

And we embrace ourselves in pity because
all that's left
is cyber-crime

And we're full of youth and running.

Resorting to the evening sun and apple juice
to fuel the decades
Dropping lemons on tomorrow
When we'll have coffee at midnight and become addicted

escaping into criminal bliss in a jungle of trampled fruit.

Whoever is doing what they're doing (you know who you are) needs to stop. It's getting old.
