This poem I came up with while looking at some of my bother's pictures with his little girl. He is in the army and his little girl is now 7 months old. Some people do not understand how hard it is to leave a child and go to war. Because when you came back home your baby doesn't remember you. It can take months for them to be comfortable with you. I dedicate this to all the men and women fighting- not just the U.S. soldiers either -for the less lucky people who are not free. And for those who do this while trying not to think of their children at home.
