This class is lame
It’s making me tired
I’m dreaming of sitting on
Cloud nine

This class is boring
Nothing to learn
I can’t pay attention
I just want to go home

The teacher starts to yell
But I’m fast asleep
I’m sleeping in my
Own little world

The hour is finally over
I can now leave
This nightmare is over
But now I have to wake up

Still asleep in class
I can’t wake up
This boring teacher
put me out
There is no waking up
For me

I wrote this poem on September 17, 2010. I was in a class at school when one of my friends fell asleep. I tried waking him, but I couldn’t. He was asleep for the whole class plus passing time. I wrote this poem to show what it might be like to fall asleep in class. I hope you enjoy this poem. Please comment.
