Through all the petty thoughts
sun shines behind cotton clouds
the beauty creeps closer every minute
with the crisp air to fill my lungs
and remind me of the wonder
of life and the world
and how lucky
to be one out of infinite numbers
who is blessed with the gift
of seeing and exploring.
The appreciation washes over
between petty thoughts and worries
that will someday disappear
and how lucky to have the chance
to hope for a long
and prosperous life ahead.
