"It takes a second to say I love you but a lifetime to show it" " Love is like the air we breath. It may not always be seen, but it is always felt, used, and needed"

He watches you
Day to day

With his long sharp claws
Waiting to kill

The smell of blood
Swarms the air

The hawk swoops in
For lunch

But nothing good
Down there

Only people walking
Back and forth

The hawk flies to the
Highest of clouds

Waiting for the longest
Of time for something

Something good to
Happen

The hawk builds his
Nest
And another day is
Yet to come

I wrote this poem when I was laying against a tree watching a hawk. I tried to imagion myself as a hawk and I tried to imagion how hard a hawks life is. How do you think a hawks life is. I hope you enjoy. Please comment.
