"It takes a second to say I love you but a lifetime to show it" " Love is like the air we breath. It may not always be seen, but it is always felt, used, and needed"

Running down the stairs
Jumping by the tree
The presents laying under the tree
You jump in joy
With so many presents that lay
Mom says wait to open
But you beg and beg
She gives in and lets you

You rip and tare
All the paper in sight
Toy after toy starts to appear
You are exited and ready to play
While listening to mom tell a story
A story about Santa
Surprising you on how Santa came
Climbing through the chimney
Delivery the presents
To fill you with joy
The joy on Christmas day

I wrote this poem on October 28, 2010. I was looking at old pictures from when I was young. In the picture, it was Christmas day. I looked so happy. It made me think about all the good times my family had. I just hope everyone has a nice Christmas with their family. Please enjoy my poem.
