He starts to run
His little paws are
Faster than his body
Moves

He runs for miles
With me chasing after
Nothing stops him except a
Car door

Jumps on the seat with
His head leaning out the side window
Panting after his long run on
His way home

But tomorrow he will do the same
Run, run, run, then sleeps again
There is no stopping my speeding
Dog

I wrote this poem on October 28, 2010. I dedicate this poem to my dog blackie. I was playing with my dog when I wrote this poem. I remembered when he would just run right out the front door. My dad and I chased him for miles, until he jumped into a car. The car was the only way we could catch him. I hope you enjoy this poem, and never under estimate a dogs abilities.
