The lights go
Out

The sun goes
Down

The wolves start to
Howl

The thunder starts to
Rumble

The lightning streaks across
The sky

The full moon rises in the
Sky

The sky is pitch
Black

With only stars showing the
Way

The way of the dark
Moon

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem on October 28, 2010. I wrote this when I looked outside watching the sun go down and the moon come up. I listened to the sounds of the dark. The sounds sooth your mind as you fall asleep. I wrote this poem because the dark is quite peaceful. I hope you enjoy this poem.
