Unintentional Lies
I know you’re in love with me
And I truly love you too,
But I don’t think that it’s enough
To spend my days with you
My heart is still in pieces
The healing yet to start
And though I care for you
I can’t control my heart
When I see his face
My chest again feels light
And when I hear his voice
There’s an end to the night
I love the way I laugh
When he talks to me
Even when I remember
Why I shouldn’t be
I’m happy around him
More so in his arms
I’m not sure why I am
So affected by his charms
I didn’t mean to hurt you
My heart is not my own
While you were loving me
For another love has grown
Just please remember that
I never once lied to you
But the love you feel for me
I cannot feel for you
