Revolt my dear animals
The clock tower's bell rings,
and animals fill the voids.
They tear down stairs,
they herd down halls,
in search for their next holing place.
Not many are restricted with chains,
the chains that scream in their ears daily.
The ringing always spells their doom,
yet they walk the path knowing their fate.
If there is nothing other,
than the clock tower's ring,
listen closely,
for the mockingbird will sing.
They taunt each other,
within their cages;
some believe they are alone,
and cower from the packs.
There is one lone wolf in the cage,
the wolf can linger and do as it pleases,
and the path that it walks
freezes.
If there is nothing other,
than the clock tower's ring,
listen closely,
for the mocking bird will sing.
The sun on the horizon,
the animals are summoned,
to endure their trapped lives in cells.
Sky is a dank gray,
with no sunshine.
Oh how the animals sink in the gray.
If there is nothing other,
than the clock tower's ring,
listen closley,
for the mocking bird will sing.
Hear the ring dear animals,
stay away from your own decay,
Learn what true freedom is,
not to run away.
If there is nothing other,
than the clock tower's ring,
listen closely,
fo the mocking bird will sing.
Strike out, dear animals,
let's revolt.
No more shall we obey,
work together,
break your cage,
and find escape.
Yes, my dear animals,
let us go.
For the mocking bird is singing,
signaling our time.
