We Honor You
You can’t tell a veteran at first glance
He may stumble a little bit, or he may have a limp
But that doesn’t make him a veteran
He may not be able to hear very well but it doesn’t make him a veteran
You have to really look at him
You might see scars from wounds
But the thing that makes a veteran stand out is his eyes
Eyes that have seen dangers beyond our imagine
Seen death that no one should ever have to see
Has changed from all the disasters witnessed
Veterans are heroes who stood for our freedom and will always be remembered
We Honor You
