The scars etched into the land’s beauty,
changing her forever, never to be the same.
The trees are gone,
the animals too.
Over and over the scars are traced.
When they start to fade
again they’re etched.
More are made
more are forgotten
They’re here for our life time,
They’ll wind on forever.
