Sleep Weighs
I have a headache.
I think it's the sleep-
I am drunk with it,
hungover on the little marbles of rest
that weigh down my intellect.
I cannot win;
My marbles are too many, they
weigh
a ton. My head drops, I am
lost
in an underwater forest of colored prisms.
My marbles are too few.
They roll free, all over my
thoughts
hopes
memories
They distract me; I
am lost in the movement of my fatigue.
