"It takes a second to say I love you but a lifetime to show it" " Love is like the air we breath. It may not always be seen, but it is always felt, used, and needed"

We fight for freedom
Why can’t we get along
Guns and bombs kill
They kill somebody’s family

We either win or lose
But either way somebody dies
Why does it have to be
Like this

War is like hell
Everything is torture
You watch a friend die
And you might be next

Miracles happen for real
God made a miracle
Which is life
Death is not a miracle
It’s fate

War is not fate
War is sad
War is hell
War is something bigger then
Life
It’s War

I wrote this poem on November 21, 2010. I was looking at a list of vets. That lost their lives in war. I think to myself, why does someone have to die. Can’t we make peace? Can’t we make an agreement? I hope you enjoy this poem. If you know somebody in the army, please show them respect and give them thanks.
