Do I really want to be in a class
Full of blame?

People run
People walk
I’m stunned by how
They talk

People wanna be
People are
People want to change
Who they are

People try
People fly
People cry to get
What they want

People live
People die
You may cry
When they die
That’s what life is about

I wrote this poem on November 23, 2010. I was thinking about how people are and how they want to change. I think to myself, we are who we want to be. Don’t try to be somebody you really aren’t. I hope you like my poem.
