The words are evidently charming,
But you will not be cheated;
They were said too early on:
I love you.
The sentiment is undeniably faithful,
But you cannot foreshadow;
They might not go all the way:
I miss you.
This confession lyses with candor,
But you suffer from a power cut;
They can’t reach your core:
I need you.
